Thanks John, and Tucker for the work both of you have been doing in providing us with the events you have been coming up with. More and more folks seem to be showing up , and I know that those events that I have been able to show up for have been really fun , and some kind of challenging. (Kind of spooky when you take off last and end up landing 34 ships in front of the guy who was 34 mile ahead of you )

Keep up the good work. I know it's a bear of a responsibility, but as I said, you guys do it well

Thanks for your support Monnie. Seeing the Southwest Virtual Congo line during the events is what keeps us going.

For those who haven't been to an event I would certainly encourage you to show up for our next event this Sunday Night. Its a great way to meet your fellow pilots and earn extra bonus hours towards your log book as well!

Thank you very much, Monnie. It is at great feeling knowing that our work is appreciated. I know that John and I both strive to make the events department one of the best in the virtual airline world. John is more prominent in the planning of the events, and I in the development of web based systems, but I think that our system works and really helps to make leaps in bounds in this VA.

Thanks to all our pilots who have been increasing their participation in the events that we plan; I thank you.

Did the SWV Events feature die and go inactive? August is almost over, and there hasn't been a SWVA sponsored event since...well... I thought our VA would be a little more active.

The events department is in no way inactive; I am planning a major event for SWVA in September. The reason that there have been no events for the month of August is that I believe we needed a break to make events more fresh and appealing to pilots. If too many events are offered, then pilots tend to get bored.

But do not fret, Events will be back in full swing in September.
